A Pop of Color

Every morning, Maya stood in front of her closet for a 10 minutes that felt like forever, staring into the corporate rainbow abyss of black, beige, gray, navy, and white. She had a lot on her shoulders; being a mom and a corporate leader.

But when she looked at her clothes, it felt soulless, corporate, and overly “professional”.

However, this morning was different, something caught her eye. She began to reach forward into the abyss and she took out a cobalt blue blazer and suddenly, all the color in world came back to her eyes.

Walking into the boardroom she didn’t just present a deck of slides, she presented her true self. She wasn’t just another minimalistic executive, but she was the one with ideas and concepts that popped exactly like her jacket.
